Janette Chester – Founder & CEO

Before starting Chester&Aldgate, Janette spent 15 years at McKinsey & Company, the multibillion dollar global management consulting firm with more than 14,000 consultants based in offices located in over 120 countries.

“My journey with McKinsey taught me life lessons when it comes to standards of working – the level of excellence required, along with the importance of discretion and confidentiality for clients.”

Appointed to manage the Partnership’s EA support, Janette oversaw the recruitment, performance and overall leadership of thousands of Executive Assistants across every sector. She also played a key part in setting up a successful off-shore EA support function in Eastern Europe.

Her ability to identify the precise qualities required from the many EAs she has worked with throughout her career has fine-tuned her skill in placing them with the right executives.

It was these transferrable skills that inspired Janette to launch Chester&Aldgate in 2014.

Today, as CEO, Janette remains very involved and personally oversees every client relationship and placement opportunity.

Hannah Gray – Operations Manager

After attaining her degree at University in Southampton, Hannah developed a solid career in administration and customer service, including a number of years for two global shipping lines. After a career break to raise her three daughters, she was approached by Janette to join her at Chester&Aldgate.
