Janette Chester -Founder

For over 20 years Janette has recruited, developed and inspired thousands of EAs and worked closely with business leaders across all sectors to find that perfect match.

Janette spent 15 years at McKinsey & Company, the multibillion-dollar global management consulting firm with more than 10,000 consultants based in over 65 countries, where she was appointed to manage the EA and Front of House teams.

Overseeing the recruitment, performance and overall leadership of thousands of Executive Assistants across every sector, she also played a key part in setting up a successful shared services support function in Eastern Europe.

Her ability to identify the precise qualities required from the many EAs she has worked with throughout her career has fine-tuned her skill in placing them with the right executives.

It was these transferrable skills that inspired Janette to launch Chester&Aldgate in 2014.

Hannah Gray – Operations

Prior to a career break with her three children, Hannah developed a solid career in administration and customer service, including a number of years for two global shipping lines. She was approached by Janette to join her at Chester&Aldgate in 2017 and alongside her behind-the-scenes role in operations, Hannah oversees temporary placements and sources great candidates!
